When you buy a Villa del Palmar timeshare you will be required to sign a contract that will bind you for 25 years to your property. You are under no obligation to sign the contract while staying at the resort if you do not wish to purchase one of the Villa Group timeshares. However, if you do decide to buy, your contract will be binding like any purchase and you will not be able to cancel your agreement unless there is some lawful reason for doing so. Canceling your timeshare contract under these conditions will require legal representation, and may involve going to court. It is rare under these circumstances to receive a refund unless there has been some gross misrepresentation.
Should you believe that there has been some misunderstanding or misrepresentation with regard to your timeshare purchase with Villa del Palmar, your first move should be to contact a manager or senior member of staff at The Villa Group to discuss the circumstances of your contract and cancellation. The Villa Group have very strict guidelines for their sales staff, and therefore any dissatisfaction should be reported immediately.
